As we pack up our gear (and our emotions) and turn the page to a new chapter in South Carolina, we couldn't resist one last hurrah for the couples who made our time in the Pacific Northwest truly magical. Think of this blog post as a little yearbook sendoff-complete with inside jokes, unforgettable moments, and the kind of love stories that remind us why we do what we do. So grab a tissue (or a glass of wine-we won't judge) and stroll down memory lane with us as we highlight our PNW Class of Love!

Most Likely to Be Everyone's Favorite

Mike & Veronika

Where do we even start? From their engagement session to their wedding day, these two have felt like family. Mike (lovingly dubbed "Daddy Mike") took it upon himself to keep us safe from the muddy ground and overheating with his trusty emotional support fan. Veronika welcomed us into their home like old friends, fed us, laughed with us, and even made our work part of their home decor. We love you two!

Favorite Memory:

Mike stopping Georgie from laying on the ground and saying, 'Absolutely not. Not on my watch.' Forever our protector!

Most Likely to End Up in Our Group Chat

Jo & Zack

These two are nothing short of a good time. Every session with Jo and Zack feels like an adventure-full of laughs, weird ideas that somehow work, and electric energy. But even better? Their hearts. Jo and Zack have cheered us on in more ways than we can count, and we're so lucky to call them friends.

Favorite Memory:

Watching Zack muster up the courage to skateboard down a ramp that Jo was sitting on with a paper bag mask over his head blocking his sight!

Best Dressed AND Best Hype Team

Nina & Derrick

Nina and Derrick? Icons. From city chic to tulip field glam, they never show up without turning heads-and making us feel so deeply appreciated. They've turned kind words into megaphones, always uplifting us behind the scenes and out loud.

Favorite Memory:

Nina's sparkly rose gold dress at their Tacoma session- we were swooning the entire time.

Most Organized Lovebirds

Rafael & Paul

Rafael and Paul brought a spreadsheet to love-and somehow made it look romantic. Always punctual, always prepared, and always grounded in love and joy. Their big day was a beautiful reflection of their deep connection and communication.

Favorite Memory

Seeing Rafael surprise Paul for their first look by wearing a full blown wedding dress-high heels included!

Most Unexpected Meet-Cute

Alyssa & Julian

Spotted: a sweet, snowy proposal at Gold Creek Pond...and us just so happening to be there. Alyssa and Julian's story with us started serendipitously and blossomed into something beautiful. From courthouse "I Do's" to fashion-forward friends and family, their wedding was nothing short of iconic.

Favorite Memory:

The moment they said "I Do' to forever!

Class Clowns, But Make it Romantic

Mel & Tim

From gut-busting jokes to tender moments, these two are the full package. Their big day was full of joy, but they made just as much space for us- always checking in, always kind, always hilarious. Sessions with them are pure serotonin.

Favorite Memory:

Asking Tim to "run up behind Mel and grab her around the middle and lift and spin" and watching him absolutely dirty tackler her to the ground during their engagement session.

Kindest Souls Award

Dakota & Daniel

We'll say it: Dakota and Daniel are the kind of people who restore your faith in humanity. Every interaction felt like a warm hug. They trusted us completely and showered us with appreciation and kindness every step of the way!

Favorite Memory:

When their session at Tipsoo Lake was a tad (a lot) darker than expected and a thick fog rolled in hiding all the snow! Gave us those HOA HOA HOA twilight vibes!

Most likely to Break the Rules for the Shot

Jenna & Tenya

These two? Down for anything. Whether it's dancing in a field or hopping a fence for that perfect light-drenched frame, they always brought joy and adventure to every shoot. A photographer's dream.

Favorite Memory:

Agreeing as a group to do a little light trespassing for a shot in the coolest spiral staircase in downtown Tacoma!

Best First Dance Energy

Em & Rich

Em and Rich didn't just get married-they threw the party of the year and stayed madly in love through every beat. Rich couldn't keep his eyes off Em, and Em glowed every times he looked her way. Their love was a dance, and we were so lucky to witness it.

Favorite Memory:

Seeing their bridal attire (a beautiful white wedding dress with multi colored custom flowers between the layers of tulle for Em, and a floral multi-colored suit for Rich) match each other perfectly and finding out that neither of them knew what the other person had picked to wear for the big day. Talk about being completely in sync!

That's a Wrap on the PNW Class of Love!

To every couple who trusted us to document your joy, your tears, your laughter, and your biggest days-thank you. You've been more than clients. You've been our muses, our hype crew, and our friends. While we may be heading south, the memories we've made here will always hold a piece of our hearts. Here's to the next chapter-and to all the love still to come.
