Some weddings just feel like home the second you walk in-and Rachel and Mattheau's August wedding at Burkett's Barn was exactly that. Rachel is the kind of bride you meet and within five minutes you're convinced you've been best friends for years. Warm, hilarious, and effortlessly herself. Mattheau matched that energy perfectly-easy going, friendly, and clearly head-over-heels for his girl. Together? Absolute magic.

The day started with a misty, moody Pacific Northwest morning in Winlock, setting the tone for a relaxed and joy-filled wedding day. Getting ready felt more like a hangout with your favorite people than a high-stress timeline moment. The bridal party was chalk full of personality-inside jokes flying, laughter echoing through the space, and that kind of energy where you know the day ahead is going to be unforgettable.

Their ceremony took place inside the cutest little rustic barn, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Surrounded by wood beam, soft light, and all their favorite people. Rachel and Mattheau shared their vows in a moment that felt intimate, intentional, and deeply emotional. It was cozy, heartfelt, and full of the kind of love that makes you tear up behind the camera (yes, we did).

And then...the reception. Oh. My. Gosh. We have never seen so many party animals in one barn. The dance floor stayed packed, the boogieing was nonstop, and the moves were bold. The absolute scene-stealer? The DAD of the bride. Funky dance moves, full-emotion facial expressions, and zero holding back-he nearly stole the entire show and we loved every second of it!

The perfect cherry on top came from when Rachel and Mattheau said, "You know what this party needs?" Karaoke. That's right-guests serenading loved ones, laughter filling the barn, and memories being made in the most unapologetically fun way possible. R+M's wedding was joyful, loud, emotional, and wildly fun-and it's one we'll be smiling about for years to come.
