It's hard to believe the final chapter of our Washington story is already being written. As we pack up gear and gear up for a cross-country adventure, June has become a beautiful blur of final hugs, misty-eyed goodbyes, and golden hour sessions that feel extra meaningful. Each click of the shutter this month has carried a little more weight, a little more love, and a whole lot of gratitude.
This blog is a countdown of our last sessions in the PNW-the couples, families, pups, and pals who trusted us to freeze one more moment in time before we head east. From tearful first looks in the forest to laughter-filled beach strolls, these sessions are a love letter to our roots and the incredible community that helped Moon & Palm bloom here in the PNW. Bridal Portraits in the Peonies
Krislyn kicked off our countdown of final sessions here in Washington with a jaw dropping bridal portrait session amidst the peonies at a local Oregon peony farm! Drenched in good vibes and sunlight, this session was nothing but fun!
Love in Downtown Tacoma
Carole+Nick took us on an adventure in downtown Tacoma for their engagement session using iconic landmarks such as the glass museum and courthouse as their backdrop to their love story! We dashed across roads, giggled and laughed, twirled and kissed during this fun filled golden hour session.
Parag's Surprise Proposal
Parag came to us with a dream of delivering a surprise proposal to the love of his life Isha with a jaw dropping view of Mt. Rainier and boy did we deliver! Congratulations to this charming couple!
Tacoma Narrows Bridal Portraits
Sophia's bridal portraits were nestled in a tiny private beach with amazing views of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. This elegant bride strutted her stuff and the sunset? Had to have been a paid actor.
Playful Family Adventures
The Boetcher family showed us that you're never too old to be silly and have fun! We played airplanes, made silly faces, and didn't stop laughing once!
Mountainous Engagements
Parag+Isha returned to us after their surprise proposal session for their engagement sessions and Mt. Rainier showed it's fondness for love by not only making an appearance for the proposal, but for their engagement session as well! This sweet and hilarious couple were a blast to run around in the field with! Congratulations to the happiest couple!
Love with a View
Daniel+Dakota sent us off with a dreamy and romantic golden hour session with no other but Mt. Rainier! These clients-turned-friends make saying goodbye so hard.
Family Love Sessions
The Waddington's. Another family we have been documenting since little Walter was a new wrinkly little babe. Full of gentle love and laughter, this family was hard to say goodbye to.
BFF Sessions
Friends forever require BFF portraits and this dynamic duo did not disappoint! Their session was nothing but giggles, hugs, inside jokes, and more!
Post Wedding Views
Gabby+Jeffery flew all the way from Tennessee to make the trek out to the Cascade National Parks to celebrate their recent wedding with a cozy and intimate couples session with the mountains standing witness to their love and commitment to each other.
Mountain Bride
Mel+Tim braved the heights of the Cascades with us for some stunning bridal portraits! As we creep up on their first wedding anniverssary, there's no better way round celebrate than donning their wedding gear, and recreating some images from their wedding at a location as jaw dropping as their venue! Happy almost anniversary Mel+Tim!
Sarrees at Sunrise
Raquel stunned us with her jaw dropping sunrise portrait session in her saree. With soft morning light, fog rolling across the water, and ducks peacefully swimming, this session was a quiet testimony to decades of tradition and culture and art all in one.
Love at UW
Akanksha and Lackhan invited us to follow them around for their courthouse wedding-where friends and family surrounded the couple as they changed tearful "I Do's". We finished off the day by romping around the always beautiful University of Washington Campus photographing their day as timelessly as their love.
Coastal Family Adventures
The Marin family is nothing but fun and laughter at their sessions! With even big brother joining the festivities like a good sport, this beach side family sesh was a blast!
A Fae Affaire
What's better than a picnic session in a gorgeous park? A FAIRY picnic session of course! This fun loving group showed up and showed out for this fantasy inspired group! Scavenger hunts, story telling, and arts and crafts finished the day off with laughter and girlhood.
Blooming Families
The Riveria family is one of our longest returning clients, and we've been photographing them since their pregnancy journey. Getting families that come back to us month after month, year after year and allow us to not only document sweet moments, but watch their family grow is one of the most special things for a photographer. This family and cake smash session was absolutely perfect as per usual with this fun loving family.
The Demchenko Wedding
Allannah and Tymur sent us off un style with their intimate and fun filled wedding! We laughed, we cried, we danced our behinds off throughout the night! Our last session being a wedding overflowing with jokes, laughter, and love was the absolute perfect way we could've said our goodbyes with.
